The Health Department has opened a centre to take care issues facing women in the face of increased physical, mental, and emotional stress. District panchayat president P.P. Shyamala Devi inaugurated ‘Seethalayam' at a function at the District Homoeopathy hospital at Kanhangad on Friday. The centre would have women doctors and staff. District panchayat vice-president K.S. Kuriakose, local body representatives, and District Homoeo Medical Officer N. Sabu spoke.
