As per CCH Letter No. 14-6/2006 CCH ( Pt. 21239 ) dated 01/10/2003 In the Depts. of Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine, Repertory and Practice of Medicine, the teaching staff at all levels shall be on regular full time basis.
In the Departments other than referred at (2) above, either the Professor or Reader shall be full time and the Lecturer shall be on full time regular basis.
That means either professor, or Reader can be a guest faculty in departments except the departments named in (2) above.
Only full time professor in the department of specialty and either professor or Reader should be from Homoeopathic side. Since the Paediatrics and Psychiatric come under practice of medicine in Undergraduate Level the experience in practice of Medicine may consider for the appointment Psychiatric and Paediatrics.

C) Qualifications & experience for teaching staff(b) desirable qualification : Administrative experience in Homoeopathic College or attached Hospital. Degree / Diploma in administration / Health Administration from any recognized institution.

Experience as Supervisor / Guide for Post Graduate programme in Homoeopathy or original publication in research.
(c) AGE : Not more than 50 years as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned.
2) Professor in homoeopathic subjects:(a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with two years of teaching experience as Reader or Degree in Homoeopathy with six years of teaching experience as Reader or Diploma in Homoeopathy of not less than four years duration with ten years teaching experience in the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic college. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
(b) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : ( i ) Experience as Supervisor / Guide for Post Graduate programme in Homoeopathy or original publication in research.
(ii) Administrative experience or Research experience in a research institution under the Department of Indian systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy of State Government or Central Government in a responsible position.
(c) AGE : Not more than 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned.
3) Professor in allied medical subjects :(a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with two years of teaching experience as Reader in the concerned subject, or a Degree in Homoeopathy with six years of teaching experience as Reader in the concerned subject, or Diploma in Homoeopathy of not less than four year duration with ten years teaching experience in the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic college. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
For the PG Subject : essential qualificationsPost Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with two years of teaching experience as Reader in the concerned subject, or a Degree in Homoeopathy with six years of teaching experience as Reader in practice of Medicine or the concerned subject, or Diploma in Homoeopathy of not less than four year duration with ten years teaching experience in practice of Medicine or the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic college. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
(b) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : ( i ) Experience as Supervisor / Guide for Post Graduate programme in Homoeopathy or original publication in research.
(ii) Administrative experience or Research experience in a research institution under the Department of Indian system of Medicine & Homoeopathy of State Government or Central Government in a responsible position.OR
(c) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : ( i ) Post Graduate Medical Degree in the concerned subject recognized by the Medical Council of India.
(ii)Five years teaching experience as Reader or thirteen years teaching experience in the subject concerned in a degree level Homoeopathic College.
(d) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : ( i ) Qualification included in the Third schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act. 1973.
(ii) Administrative experience or Research experience in a research institution under the State Government or Central Government in a responsible position.
(e) AGE : Not more than 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned. 
4) Reader in homoeopathic subject :-(a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with four years of teaching experience as Lecturer in the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic College or Degree in Homoeopathy with ten years of teaching experience as Lecturer in the concerned subject or Diploma in Homoeopathy of not less than 4 years duration with fifteen years teaching experience in the subject concerned in a Homoeopathic College. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
(b) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS : ( i ) Experience as Supervisor / Co-supervisor or Guide / Co-Guide for Post Graduate Programme in Homoeopathy.
(ii) Administrative experience or Research experience in a research institution under the Department of ISM & Homoeopathy of State Government or Central Government in a responsible position.
(c) AGE : Not more than 40 years as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned.
5) Reader in allied medical subjects :(a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with four years of teaching experience as Lecturer in the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic College or Degree in Homoeopathy with ten years of teaching experience as Lecturer in the concerned subject or Diploma in Homoeopathy of not less than 4 years duration with fifteen years teaching experience in the subject concerned in a Homoeopathic College. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
For the PG Subject : ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with four years of teaching experience as Lecturer in the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic College or Degree in Homoeopathy with ten years of teaching experience as Lecturer in practice of medicine or the concerned subject or Diploma in Homoeopathy of not less than 4 years duration with fifteen years teaching experience in practice of medicine or the subject concerned in a Homoeopathic College. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
(b) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : ( i ) Experience as Supervisor / Co-supervisor or Guide / Co-Guide for Post Graduate Programme in Homoeopathy.
( ii ) Administrative experience or Research experience in a research institution under the Department of ISM & Homoeopathy of state Government or Central Government in a responsible position. OR

(d) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : ( i ) Qualification included in the Third schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
(ii  Administrative experience or Research experience in a research institution under the State Government or Central Government in a responsible position.
(e) AGE : Not more than 40 years as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned. Superannuating age shall be 60 years.
6) Lecturer in homoeopathic subjects(a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy or a Degree in Homoeopathy with four years of professional experience. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
(b) AGE : Not more than 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable by 5 years maximum for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned.
7) Lecturer in allied medical subject :(a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy or a Degree in Homoeopathy with four years of professional experience. The qualification shall be the one included in Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.OR
(b) Post Graduate Medical Degree in concerned subject recognized by the Medical Council of India with four years professional experience.
(c) AGE : Not more than 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application for the post. Age is relaxable by 5 years maximum for exceptionally qualified persons with prior approval of the University concerned.
8) (a) Provided that, the teaching experience in the concerned subject of persons appointed as regular teaching staff in Homoeopathic Colleges ( prior to Notification of these amended regulations ) fulfilling the prescribed requirements of Homoeopathy ( Minimum Standards of Education ) Regulations, 1983 shall be counted for appointment of teaching staff as per Annexure ‘C’ to these regulations.
(b) The Age criteria is not applicable for the Teachers appointed before 27 / 09 / 2002 as per CCH letter dated 18 / 02 / 2005.
D) GENERAL NOTES : 1) Age Limit & Educational Qualifications shall be considered up-to last date of the application & experience shall be considered up-to earlier day of the interview.
2) The decision taken by MUHS authorities regarding essential qualifications and experience shall be applicable, from time to time.
3) Qualified teachers between 60 to 65 years of age will be considered for appointment of one year, if the qualified candidate(s) below the age of 60 years is / are not available.
4) Pay Scale is as per rules.
5) Application along-with attested copies of all relevant Certificates must reach to the college on or before : 17 / 02 / 2012. ( Exact date is to be specified) ( Minimum 21 days from the date of publication of advertisement in newspaper.)
