BAAH Workshop on Integrated approach to Lung Cancer with Prof.(Dr) Manish Pradhan & Dr. Biswajit Basu
The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH] ,Kolkata West Bengal organized one day workshop with Dr. Biswajit Basu & Prof. Manish Pradhan, on 18th Dec 2011 at ‘Paschimbanga Bangla Academy,Kolkata, West Bengal on the topic – Integrated approach to Lung Cancer.
In the first session a veteran most senior reputed teacher & famous clinician Chest Specialist & Pulmonologist Prof. Pradhan discussed on the topic mainly from allied aspects with differential diagnosis and prognosis with limitation of treatment procedure in modern medicine. With the help of board and view box he demonstrated a lot of cases supported with X-Ray and made the participants understand the points for differential diagnosis. This session was concluded with one hour question-answer and interaction with the audiences.
In post lunch session Dr. Biswajit Basu’s deliberation was on Integrated approach to Lung Cancer with special emphasis on Homoeopathic approach & plan of treatment .During the discourse he presented cases had improvement and documented with CT scan and other reports.
Apart from that he emphasized on prognosisof the disease from pathological ,CT, Ca-Marker etc. perspective and as well as from Homoeopathic miasmatic aspects. Dr Basu shared his experiences and prescribing indications of some commonly used Homoeoapthic medicines for Lung Cancer. This discourse on was concluded with an interaction with the participants.
In the valedictory function Participants expressed their views about this programme and they also demanded regular workshop on allied aspects. Certificate of participation were offered to the participants in the valedictory function.
Dr. Shipra Basu ,Organizing Secretary BAAH, declared this programme as on an ongoing programme to be continued on different topics and modules e.g Integrated approach to different Chronic Diseases, Children diseases, Research methodology etc. Workshop was concluded paying vote of thanks to all .
