ITBP unit to come up at NoornaduThe government has decided to give 50 acres of land to ITBP for setting up its battallion at Noornadu, which was sanctioned from the land belonging to the Noornadu Leprsoy Sanatorium. The land will be on lease for 50 years and at a rate of Rs 100 per acre.
Off-campus centre of English Foreign Language University
It has been decided to hand over 75 acres based on certain conditions for setting up the off-campus centre of the Hyderabad Engish Foreign Language University at Malappuram. The required land has been alloted from the 234 acre land belonging to Inkel.
Housebiat terminal complex landscaping
Rs 4.49 crore has been sanctioned by the government for landscaping works at the Alappuzha houseboat terminal complex. This amount also takes into account the increase of 19.9% in tender.
Other decisions
Government would start 30 new homoeo dispensaries with each dispensary having four people as staff. The las date of one-time settlement offered by backward development department has been extended to 30-06-2013.
